Prior to CrossFit Border, Carly worked as a Learning and Development Advisor in an organisation supporting people with physical and intellectual disabilities. As a result, she has first-hand experience in driving the right learning, development and capability interventions to increase success. She also has qualifications and experience as a Personal Trainer and has drawn on this experience in previous roles to help rehabilitate people with serious physical disabilities. Fitness has shaped the best part of Carly’s life. She has competed nationally for discus and has even held a few Australian records. She has also represented NSW in the Women’s Premier League for soccer. Competing at this level has given Carly a huge appreciation and understanding for the commitment and effort it takes to train at your highest capacity…and more importantly, the gratification and self-love it fuels.

Drawing on almost 5 years working as an Account Manager across various Advertising Agencies, Brenda oversees the operations, marketing and member support functions at CrossFit Border. Her passion is finding the right classes and membership that will fit into your lifestyle and help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be! Brenda started CrossFit after a serious motor vehicle accident that left her with substantial injuries. CrossFit has played an integral role in her physical rehabilitation as well as being a vital component in rebuilding her confidence and overall wellbeing and happiness.
